Laura and Ace came to Illinois for a week and then Harper and I went to New Jersey. We had a great time and I miss them very much!

Ace would crawl up in bed with me and Harper and cuddle... he can be so sweet!

Here I am with my little chicken. She was a good sport even though she was exhausted.

We went to a Halloween party at the Jets Practice Facility... Ace rocked his duck costume... saying, "quack quack"

He was happier than he looked here.

Steve wanted to show off the chicken and the duck to all of his friends... they looked adorable.

Trying to hold on to both of these two is nearly impossible.

Harper loves being outside.

Ace found a stick to go beat the pig that bit him!

It is tougher than you think to hold her up and get both of our heads in those little holes.

This is the pig that bit Ace. The entire time I was in NJ he would show me his hand when we sas a pig... it could be Babe, a book, a Halloween costume... he has quite the memory!

Aunt Shanna did the running while Aunt Laura took care of the immobile one.

First he drove the purple car.

Then he got frustrated trying to ride this tiny tractor.

He gave up after riding the tricycle... he prefers a motor (thank goodness for the Gator, the tractor, and the "bine" as he likes to call the combine)

When he saw Thomas on arrival at Jones' Pumpkin Patch he took off at break-neck pace.... gonna be a running back?
