Day 2... still in the hospital

Harper has been doing GREAT! She eats like it is her job and then sleeps until she is hungry again. There are few tears that have been shed thus far. I'm doing pretty well - I'm tired and sore, but am so overwhelmed by the excitement that I have hardly noticed or had time to let fatigue get to me.
We get to take Harper home tomorrow and I'm so excited - this means that I get to start dressing her in real clothes. I have said all along that it was a blessing that Marcus and I weren't finding out the sex of the baby because I would be out of control with the shopping.... now I know and will have little will power resisting gladiator sandals and peasant tops. Stay tuned for years of entertainment from Harper's wardrobe.

  1. What a beautiful Daughter you have!! I can tell you from experience that it is alot more fun to buy little girls clothes than little boys :) Enjoy pampering your princess!!

  3. It looks like somebody has Daddy wrapped around her tiny little fingers already. And that is perfectly okay! :) We love you, are so excited for you and can't wait to see the three of you!
